I practise on my own account as a registered professional under VAT number 02717680694; EDIL NOZZI S.R.L. is a construction company under VAT number IT02760240693, registered at the same address in Via Torre 168, Torrevecchia Teatina.
The two cooperate often. I state that here in full, rather than in a footnote, because it is the only honest way to state it: giving the building work to that company is always the client's free choice and is never a condition of engaging me. A client who instructs me to prepare a design, file a permit application or supervise a site may use any contractor, and gets the same work from me either way.
Where I act as the technician on a project and EDIL NOZZI S.R.L. is among the companies being considered to carry out the works, I declare the connection to the client in writing before the contract is awarded, as the CNI code of conduct requires on conflicts of interest. Work built by the company is not my work and is not presented on this site as mine.

Complaints and dispute resolution
Ivan Nozzi has not signed up to any alternative dispute resolution body and is not required to. A complaint about professional conduct goes to the Ordine degli Ingegneri della Provincia di Chieti, which passes it to its Consiglio di Disciplina — the disciplinary panel that decides such matters under DPR 137/2012, applying the code of conduct of the Consiglio Nazionale degli Ingegneri.
The European online dispute resolution platform set up by Regulation (EU) 524/2013 is no longer available: the regulation was repealed and the platform stopped operating in July 2025. For a dispute arising out of an engagement, Italian civil and commercial mediation under D.Lgs 28/2010 remains open, before a body listed on the register kept by the Italian Ministry of Justice.
Italian law governs the use of this site. Where the client is a consumer, the mandatory protections of consumer law continue to apply, including the rule that proceedings belong before the court where the consumer lives. In any event, every engagement starts with a written quotation setting out the scope of the work, its limits and the fee, before anything is commissioned.
